Awesome abstract faces by Mrs. Weatherbie's class!!
Kids love to have discussions about art that is abstract and tell their own interpretation of what the artist what creating. We looked at Matisse's portrait of his wife "Green Stripe" painted in unrealistic colors choices. The kids had to let go of what they typically know a face to be and have fun with abstract face features and colors to create these awesome pieces in watercolor.
